I am a displaced Michigander currently living in western Colorado.

In 2016 I borrowed a camera to take on my first solo trip to Michigan's Upper Peninsula. With camera in hand, I began seeing the world differently. I started really looking at the beauty all around me. It quickly became apparent that I'd been missing out on incredible moments and places that this gorgeous blue ball called earth has to offer. I've been hooked on travel and photography ever since.

Why 'A Wish Bestowed'?

I started A Wish Bestowed Photography in 2020 after losing my sister to cancer. Her last birthday gift from me was a promise that every wish I made would be for her to have a day with less pain. For the next six months every dandelion I blew on, pennies tossed in wishing wells, falling stars, seeing 11:11 on a clock, and even stray eyelashes became that wish for her.

A Wish For You!

Since starting A Wish Bestowed Photography, as a nod to my sister, I have included a wish in the form of a dandelion seed in every photograph. If you find the wish, make a wish! Even if you never find yours, know it is there and it is my wish bestowed upon you.
